My sister has a baby and are responsible for the shower. We wanted it wild and fun with a theme. For example, beat my sister:
Cowboy party and decorate like a ranch and guests dressed as cowgirls
Josie Prince Party and has chaired by Queen's red carpet and garlands used to sit for the people
Part Sailor - Ship Ahoy, it's a boy! After a party on the sea with the backdrop of the sea.

However, none of them was really "knock em dead." What are some other ideas?

As we are a baby shower for my sister's children 1 decorated in blue ... All banners, balloons, cake and dinner!
We had games, photos, and these ... great gifts!
I think there are some gr8 idea is already in the list!
Note that a single day and if we play our "home" was my favorite sister ... inside!

Wow that sounds like a very ambitious ideas, and would probably do a lot of work.
Do you know whether you have chosen a theme in the nursery? I can go with her (as if they chose the sea marine life, sport, or small teddy bear).
Doing so may subject the party simply "Baby Shower", with blue ribbons, blue balloons, blue napkins and plates, etc. In other words, decorated to keep things simple.
I had one last June and I think that children's decorating theme in my teddy bear shower. I have more things for my upbringing in this way.
